SUSTAINABILITY
Championing Sustainability In The Built Environment
The Future Homes Standard lands in 2027 and cuts new-build carbon by three quarters overnight. I’m not an architect or an engineer, and I’m not pretending to be one here.
What I can do is make sure the people getting it right don’t do it quietly, tracking the regulation, publishing the proof, and putting it in front of the 40,000+ architects, developers and contractors making the same calls right now.
Who Are we
Nick Brown
Industry Influencer & Network Builder
Before that, Nick served with 846 Naval Air Squadron, Commando Helicopter Force, a front-line Royal Marines unit that took him across the world in some of the most demanding environments imaginable. That background shaped everything that followed: the discipline, the resilience and the instinct for building things that last.
The Built Environment Network is the natural next chapter – a platform that brings together everything Nick has spent three decades building: industry knowledge, trusted relationships and a network of over 20,000 built environment professionals who follow him because he’s earned it.
When you join our network, you’re not buying an advert! You’re stepping into a community that Nick has spent his career creating.
Across every chapter, military service, recruitment leadership and digital publishing, the constant has been the same: building things that last, whether that’s teams, networks or communities.
Built Environment Network is the latest, and most ambitious, of those.
