At its core, the extension delivers much-needed kitchen and living space, but it is more than just an expansion as it creates an elevation of everyday living. The external design thoughtfully reflects the traditional character of the original house but matching materials and timeless architectural details reflective of the existing structure, achieving a seamless and appropriate addition to the house.
Internally, the mood shifts to contemporary sophistication, where an open-plan kitchen, living and dining space is effortlessly achieved. The centerpiece, a striking kitchen island, enhances the space’s functionality and visual appeal. Above, the vaulted ceiling, formed by the hipped roof and accented with conservation roof lights, bathes the space in natural light, enhancing a sense of openness and airiness.
