Planning Approval Secured – A New Contemporary Dwelling By: Colledge Architects Colledge Architects is pleased to announce that planning approval has been secured for a new low-energy contemporary home in Shipton-under-Wychwood. The application was approved by West Oxfordshire District Council under delegated powers. The site is located within the Cotswold National Landscape and the Shipton-under-Wychwood Conservation Area, adjacent to listed buildings and ecologically sensitive features including trees and a nearby stream. Following extensive consultation with the Council’s Ecology Officer, the scheme delivers a Biodiversity Net Gain of 10.5%, alongside compensatory tree planting within the applicant’s landholding. The application was submitted in accordance with pre-application advice, resulting in a comprehensive and well-supported proposal.
