Finchley Road Campus – London NW3 By: Square Feet Architects Over the past decade, we have proudly partnered with ESCP to transform their Finchley Road campus in London NW3. This ongoing collaboration aims to address the substantial increase in student enrolment while creating a modern, functional, and welcoming environment that supports academic excellence and student engagement. With each project, we have worked closely with ESCP to develop spaces that meet the growing needs of their diverse student body, fostering a campus that embodies both educational innovation and community spirit. Our work at ESCP’s Finchley Road campus has encompassed a wide range of projects, from strategic masterplanning to detailed reconfigurations. Initially, our focus was on understanding the specific challenges posed by the growing number of students. By evaluating current and projected space needs, we developed a phased approach to remodelling the campus, allowing for gradual changes that minimised disruptions to students and faculty while ensuring the efficient use of available resources. One of our early projects involved internal reconfiguration, where we redesigned existing spaces to maximise usability and functionality.
