Kabilo used solid, tactile brickwork to set the tone outside, then kept the interiors warm and contemporary. There is something satisfying about a house that shows its materials honestly. Brick Residence was built on that idea. Brick, laid well, is a design decision in its own right, and here it does most of the talking. Kabilo delivered the project as a design-and-build contractor rather than just fitting out someone else’s drawings. That matters more than it sounds.
