From 4D Animation to Vivid Scene Stills A Project By: Collabor8 Studio I’m delighted to share some scene extract images that offer a more polished look at Construction CG images. What makes these particularly interesting is their origin: they were initially created as part of an animated 4D sequence for multi-million-pound projects, meaning the core narrative and final sequence was very complex and could take 8-10 weeks, with the final output being about 4 minutes long and telling the overall story of construction methods, key dates and methodologies and how the contractor would overcome challenges. However, stepping back from the pressure of the animation timeline allows us to treat each key event as an individual scene. This freedom enables us to add significantly more detail, refine the textures, and craft sophisticated lighting. The result is that these individual stills are brought vividly to life and can now tell the entire story without the need for the animation there for saving time and also production costs.
