The project includes the extensive refurbishment of the existing barn, celebrating its historic character while introducing striking contemporary design elements. The approved scheme responds to the site’s dramatic coastal setting, with the design subtly integrating into the surrounding landscape. The ground floor extensions have been carefully conceived to become part of the terrain with a meadow-like green roof and natural local materials to complement the barn’s rustic stonework.
