Are you an experienced Architect with strong planning experience and a passion for rural design? Join our well-established architectural practice, renowned for delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects throughout the stunning countryside locations.
We are looking for a talented Architect to become part of our collaborative team. You’ll work across a wide variety of rural schemes, including bespoke homes, conversions, commercial buildings, as well as heritage and conservation projects.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading and supporting projects from concept through to completion
- Preparing and submitting planning applications, including statements and supporting documents with administration support
- Managing the planning process and liaising with local authorities
- Producing high-quality technical drawings and design proposals
- Conducting site visits across North Devon and the South West
- Delivering sustainable, context-sensitive rural architecture
What We’re Looking For:
- Fully qualified Architect with proven UK practice experience
- Strong planning knowledge and experience preparing planning applications
- Background in rural, residential, or commercial projects
- Excellent design, technical and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Revit is essential for a flying start (D5 Render, SketchUp, etc.)
- Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset
- Passion for rural architecture and sympathetic, landscape-led design
- Supporting in the development of our junior team members
