Islamabad Trauma Centre – Pakistan By: Paul Treacy Architects Paul Treacy was the project Architect  and Concept Designer for an International competition to design a Healthcare Trauma centre in Islamabad, Pakistan. The Design team developed an organic and iconic design for the primary building which reference the tri parti nature of the clients brief to generate a unique and dynamic free flowing building set within a complimentary masterplan which blended with the proposed Architectural language . The iconic and innovative organic design was proposed to be over clad  in a laser cut perforated secondary external polished metal screen to reference the local screens or jalis which are found on buildings in this region . The Health care Concept was awarded First place in the International competition which the team presented in Pakistan to the client.
