Precision‑Crafted Bespoke Glass System in Pool Bank

We’re pleased to share one of our latest completed installations at a stunning property in Pool Bank, Yorkshire, showcasing how tailored glazing solutions continue to evolve within the built environment.
A fully bespoke glass staircase and landing balustrade system, designed specifically around the customer’s vision and the architecture of the home.
From the outset, this project was never going to be an “off‑the‑shelf” installation.
The customer wanted a staircase that felt luxurious and contemporary while still working naturally with the warmer timber finishes, stone staircase and existing interior design – an approach increasingly seen throughout the built environment. Our job was to take those ideas and turn them into a practical, beautifully finished glass system that looked as though it had always been part of the property.
We created a bespoke solution incorporating dark glass panels with black detailing, carefully formed around the staircase and continuing across the upper landing areas to create one consistent design throughout.
Every section was individually measured and tailored to suit the property.
The glass positioning, panel sizes, angles, junctions and handrail details all had to work together precisely, particularly around the staircase transitions and the large open landing area. With bespoke glasswork, the difference is always in the details – a few millimetres can completely change the finished appearance, especially in projects that contribute to the character of the built environment.
The black framework and handrail detailing were selected to give the installation a strong architectural edge, while the glass allows light to continue travelling through the property and keeps the impressive staircase feeling open and spacious.
The final result gives the home a completely different character.
