Digital Nomad Studios is a freelance 3D visualisation studio providing high-quality CGI and visualisation services for architects, developers and other professionals across the built environment.
Founded in 2026 by Mike Baxter, Digital Nomad Studios specialises in creating detailed 3D environments and architectural imagery, from individual interior and exterior visuals through to larger visualisation packages.
Working from architectural drawings and design information, Digital Nomad Studios develops detailed 3D models, materials, lighting and environments before producing the final imagery. The process combines 3D modelling and rendering with detailed post-production to create visuals that communicate both the design and atmosphere of a proposed space.
Services include architectural CGI, interior visualisation, exterior visualisation, 3D modelling, planning imagery and marketing visuals across the built environment, with projects tailored to the requirements of each client.
The studio works across a range of project types rather than focusing on a single sector, allowing the visualisation approach to respond to the character and requirements of each scheme. Recent work has included residential developments, heritage refurbishment, student accommodation and commercial spaces.
Digital Nomad Studios can provide visualisation support at different stages of a project, whether imagery is required to help communicate a proposal during the design and planning process, present a scheme to clients and stakeholders, or produce polished marketing imagery for a completed development.
The studio places particular emphasis on creating imagery for the built environment that feels considered and believable, using detailed modelling, carefully composed cameras, lighting and materials to communicate how a building or space could actually look and feel.
