We are bespoke manufacturers of sofas and chairs based in Manchester. As one of the few remaining upholstery workshops in the North West we can tailor our sofas to our customers’ needs and are small enough to give genuine care and attention to individual orders
We are also unique in having designed and developed a complete range of models based on the Art Deco and Art Nouveau movements of the 1920s & 1930s.
We work closely with our customers to provide their specific needs and our end goal is to ensure they are completely happy with the product we deliver to them.
There was lots to see at the January Furniture Show recently and it was very useful to catch up on the latest developments.
This is the largest furniture event of the year – however its is a lot smaller than it used to be, possibly reflecting how easy it is now to access suppliers online.
Personally I found very little to excite me in terms of upholstery products.
This maybe because I am looking for a little more originality of design whereas the bulk of the UK market prefers more traditional models.
But that’s OK for us as a company – we have set out to appeal mainly to those looking for slightly maverick products where design comes first and foremost.
We continue to receive the sort of ‘wow’ feedback we have been used to from professional designers and architects – something that incentivises us to keep doing what we’re doing.
