HERE Sudio’s: Built for Innovation

Project Summary:
WDA have been working with the Ashville Group since 2012 on numerous commercial upgrade and extension projects across the southwest. HERE Studios (formerly Bath Road Studios) is now on its fourth phase, with Phase 1 focusing upon a complete remodel of the reception and creation of a tenant café and hot desk space.
Project Detail:
Phase 2 required a substantial re-build to the rear of the site, including repurposing of the former TV studio spaces with a full roof extension to create additional high quality serviced office space. Phase 3 secured planning consent to reconfigure the principal central former HTV studio spaces across three floors to create additional office space, arranged around a new central atrium.
WDA are currently drawing up proposals for Phase 4, which seeks to extend the roof over the remaining third of the original building footprint. This ties back to the completed roof extensions alongside proposals to add an additional level to the onsite carpark structure.
Key considerations are the heritage Arnos Vale Cemetery adjacent to the site which has a number of listed buildings and monuments including the Grade II* Listed chapel.
