Through a complete redesign of the site layout and architectural approach, the project enhances both development value and placemaking, creating a contemporary rural community rooted in sustainability and modern living. Project Detail: Located on the edge of the historic market town of Fakenham, the Water Moor Lane development demonstrates how thoughtful architectural intervention can significantly improve both the commercial viability and overall quality of a residential scheme. Cannon Clarke Group were appointed following the approval of an inherited Outline Planning Permission for six dwellings. Whilst the principle of development had already been established, the original proposal failed to fully respond to the site’s potential, offering a fragmented layout with limited architectural identity or sense of place.
