Your Work Is Clear. Is Your Copy?

June 10, 2026

Your website says you’re a good architect. Does it say why someone should hire you?

Hi, I’m Maja Kovacic-Kalra of Architect & Marketing

Picture the person on the other end. It’s late. They’ve got three tabs open and a knot in their stomach. This is the biggest spend of their life and they’re terrified of getting it wrong. They land on your site and find projects, awards, and a paragraph about your process.

But they’re not a fellow architect admiring the detailing. They’re a homeowner with a question and that knot. And nothing on the page answers it.

I write the words that do. And every month your site talks about you instead of them, that person closes the tab and calls the practice that sounded clearer. More human.

This is for you if:

You have spent years designing work you are proud of, but your website sounds like every other practice. Your site reads like a list of services, not a reason to choose you. You have tried writing it yourself and it came out formal, full of jargon, written for the wrong reader.

Here is what changes. That homeowner reads your project story and sees their own home in it. The knot loosens. You stop explaining yourself on the first call, because they arrive already understanding what you do.

How I do it:

I know this gap because I lived it. I spent 13 years as an architect, writing descriptions that ticked every box and sounded like a foreign language to the person who was actually paying.

So the first thing I do is cut the jargon and find the story you are too close to see. It starts with a questionnaire that pulls out your personality and the why behind your work, then one focused call. I shift the focus from “what we did” to what your client is really feeling and hoping for. Then I write copy and project stories they feel, delivered in a clean wireframe, ready to use.

Proof:

“The more we read our website, the more excited we became. That proper, gut level excitement when you know something is great.” Giorgia Lardner, Commercial Kitchen Designer, Cooper8

“Maja brought a strong, logical structure to the entire website. She simplified the language so the work became clear to anyone.” Nadia Riley, Architect

“The clarity stood out right away. She captured the essence in simple words clients would understand.” Ian Armstrong, Architect, ARCO2

How we work:

Project story. One project, rewritten so the client sees their own life in it.

  • Basic rewrite, around 300 words. £100 to £150.
  • Full narrative, 400 to 600 words. £150 to £250. ● Deep case study. £250 to £400 plus.

Full website copy, £2,750.

  • Homepage plus five pages, two rounds of revisions, delivered in a wireframe ready to use.

I don’t sell templates. I write original copy for architects who want that homeowner to think “this is exactly who we need.”

Fill out the form on my website and tell me what you want rewritten.

A project, the whole site, or something bigger. I reply within 24 hours.
