Keble College kitchen refurbishment approved at Oxford’s Grade I building

OFA are delighted to share that we have secured planning and listed building consent for the refurbishment of the main kitchen within the Grade I listed building at Keble College / University of Oxford
This has been a long-awaited milestone. The kitchen formed part of the original vision for the wider programme at Keble, which delivered the refurbishment of the iconic Dining Hall, a new servery and catering facilities, and vastly improved equal access to the Hall.
The kitchen element, however, had to be paused several times over the years — with Covid playing a major role — alongside a series of unavoidable delays. Which makes today’s green light feel all the more uplifting and a genuinely significant step forward for the College.
A huge thank you to everyone who has stayed committed through all the twists and turns. Excited to move into the next phase and finally bring this missing piece of the original vision to life.
