Norse Stone – Caithness Flagstone Specialists

Norse Stone crafts premium Caithness flagstone for modern architecture, landscaping and interiors. With over 25 years’ experience, all quarrying, processing and hand‑finishing is carried out at source in Caithness, ensuring exceptional quality, durability and consistency.

Our high‑density Devonian sandstone is extracted from the renowned Spittal beds, producing striking, jet‑black material ideal for public realm projects, residential architecture and commercial interiors. Each layer is selected for its intended use, with thicknesses ranging from 20–160 mm.

We specialise in sustainable, locally sourced stone with full traceability — offering paving, cladding, interior finishes and bespoke solutions that give new life to a 400‑million‑year‑old material.
